We're here to help you after the storm.
As your contractor our first step will be to inspect and document the extent of storm damages. We perform a physical inspection of your roof, siding, attic and interior using the latest in digital photographic technology. This assessment allows us to provide you with a complete picture of the cost of the damages and the cost to repair them.
Working with insurance company to get your claim approved can be a challenge. Most insurance company are for profit organization that turn a profit by paying out less in claims than they take in premiums. Our inspection coordinators make it clear to the adjuster that we are there to assist them in documenting the damage we discovered and request full restoration of your property during the inspection. Our presence reassures the insurance company know that you have a reputable contractor working for you.
If your insurance claim adjuster approves your claim, you will receive an estimate from the insurance company in a few days. Since the insurance company is the one who will be paying for the repairs, this is really the only estimate that counts. However your insurance company may encourage you to get estimates from 3 contractors in the hope that you focus on price instead of quality of work and select the lowest bidder. This is not in your best interest. Therefore as your hired contractor we review the insurance company's scope of loss estimate line by line and compare it to our own. This makes sure that all components, materials and labor cost are accounted for by the insurance company and are being paid for at current market prices. Now, if we discover that their estimate is lacking we will submit a supplement request for any short or missing items.
Covid has made sourcing materials in today's market place a challenge but we're up to the challenge. We maintain our accounts in good standing with several national building materials supplier to ensure that your materials will be available to us even when many other contractors are struggling to get supplies. This means that even when the materials that we need to complete your job may not be available in your local market we can source it anywhere in the country that our suppliers operate and have your materials delivered to your home to complete your job in a timely manner.
The old saying; "good help is hard to find" rings true even in the construction industry and that's why we recruit highly motivated individuals to join our team and train our crew members to be the best in the industry. It takes a skilled team of well trained professionals working together to restore your home to like new condition and that's exactly what we bring to the table. Make no mistake, we may not be the lowest bidder because we don't aim to be the cheapest company you'll ever work with - we aim to be the best you'll ever work with.
Quality is job one. Every step of the way along your project - from inspection to completion our entire staff is conscious of maintaining the highest standards of workmanship. We perform Quality Control QC checks that begin with reviewing insurance estimates for completeness and accuracy, reviewing materials ordered for accuracy and evaluate the quality of materials delivered and our workmen, supervisors, crew chiefs and project managers constantly check the detail and quality of the work in progress to ensure that the highest standards of workmanship are always being maintained. But it doesn't end there. Our crews chiefs will return to perform Warranty Inspection to facilitate additional repairs covered by your warranty when needed.
Sometimes your insurance company may underestimate the quality of the materials currently installed on your property. If we determine that this is the case, we will collect a sample of the construction material and send it to our independent third party laboratory to have them verify the type and quality of the materials currently installed on your property. If their findings determine that the materials currently installed are of a higher quality than what is reported by the insurance company, then we'll request that the insurance company supplement their approved claim to increase the claim and pay the correct cost of the materials installed.
